Doying's Nauvoo Mission

We received a big white envelope in the mail this morning and it contained a letter that says, "You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Illinois Nauvoo Mission. Your primary assignment is to labor as a visitors' center missionary. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 18 months. You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Monday, March 9, 2015."

Missionary Farewell February 22, 2015

Our day of departure is approaching quickly, and today we were blessed to have many of our family gather to bid us farewell. First we gathered in Church where we gave talks and then to our home to enjoy a meal together.

We are so looking forward to being in Nauvoo, and we hope to be able to share many of our experiences with you.
