Doying's Nauvoo Mission

We received a big white envelope in the mail this morning and it contained a letter that says, "You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Illinois Nauvoo Mission. Your primary assignment is to labor as a visitors' center missionary. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 18 months. You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Monday, March 9, 2015."

January 3, 2015 Mission call.

January 3, 2015.

When we opened our letter we wanted to be on Skype with Neal and whoever wanted to join us. Dianne had to leave for work, so we decided to do it as soon as we could arrange to have Neal on Skype. Michele was here for the weekend from BYU and we woke her up and she sent a text to Neal. With the Skype connected with Neal and Michele and Dianne with their camera's we opened the letter.

We are so excited! And to be called to the place that was number one on our list, is fabulous. We will serve until September 8, 2016.
